Betty's Birthday Celebration

Jan and I both love to garage sale and visit thrift shops such as Salvation Army and Goodwill.  Today I chose to do the garage sale thing.  Joe played chauffeur. He took along his iPad to keep him company. We found some really treasures, and I didn't even spend $5.00

Then Mr. G. decided a ride on the The Canby Ferry would be fun.

The Willamette was calm and beautiful. There was a lot of boat activity too.

Enjoying the ride.  His birthday is next Wednesday, then we'll be the same age again.

After we got off the ferry we decided a ride up Pete's Mountain would be fun as neither of us had ever done that in all the years we've lived in Clackamas County.  We came upon this little county park.

This is looking towards the ferry landing

Jan took us out for birthday supper at the Riverview Pub and Grill on the Willamette.  Jan and I had the best salmon ever, and Joe had fish and chips. When we finished, our server brought us a two birthday deserts compliments of the restaurant.

We ate out on the deck and the view was beautiful.  The year before last, while Jan was here we took this Willamette Jet Riverboat Tour  It was so much fun.
Tomorrow we will go to church then our friend Ruthie will join us for lunch at the Olive Gardens.
