Winding Up Our Week In Bend

It was a week filled with horseshoe tournaments

with a little pickleball thrown in here and there for Joe.

The next few pictures are from a walk we took around the park.

That is the family lodge in the back ground. While we were there this week we used it for playing games, a weekend breakfast and this morning we will attend church there.

Outdoor movies are shown here on the weekends. This is an inflatable screen.

Bunnies and little prairie dogs rule here

Our very well stocked little Thousand Trails store

Across the way is the back side of the Welcome Center. The park was packed for the holiday weekend. And today a large percent of them are heading back home to get ready for the work week. As for us.... we leave tomorrow. This weekend is the Tarr family reunion (Joe's mom's side the family) and right after that we head for North Dakota for the Graffis family reunion.  Have a great week!

  1. Looks like a lot of exercise for Joe. Not sure I could do back to back family reunions. My family is pretty weird. :-)

  2. You two are just having too much fun!! Looks like you had lots of sunshine to play in. Hope you have a couple of fun family reunions. Travel safe.

  3. A blow up big screen - haven't ever seen one of those. What's your route to ND?

  4. I had never heard of pickleball prior to reading these blogs. Still do not understand how to play.

Your thousand trails looks mighty nice.

  5. Happy and safe travels to you, Betty and Joe!

  6. Entirely missed you, Huh??? Have been having a great time with extended family in town the past week and this week end. never get to see some of them, so it was fun. Maybe next time :) Sorry to miss you both..

  7. Travel safe and have fun, Family reunions can be fun. Nice to see relatives and keep in touch once in a while too.
