Spring Has Sprung!

I know I posted these pictures last time, but the difference being, look what happens when there is just one day of sun and 70 degree weather.

If you look closely, you'll see the pink dogwood blossoms.

Check out these tulips. When we bought them they were white, and also some pink...but not variegated.

And we bought yellow. But again, not variegated. I must say, they are pretty though.  Ten days ago, Joe and I both came down with a upper respiratory infection and both of us went through a regime of antibiotics.  Joe is fine now, but for me, I'm still running a low grade fever in the evenings and mornings.  And coughing so much my throat feels like it is raw and my chest burns. Dr. gave me some pretty potent cough medicine. I'm happy to report, I have taken a turn for the better! Still weak in the knees, but I'm pretty sure I'll be OK for the trip to Hawaii. Besides what better place to recuperate.

  1. What a difference one makes. Your flowers make me homesick for Indiana. Our orchard is probably blossoming now as well the dafs., tulips, ohhhhh. But I still like our life.

  3. Dave and I both caught "the cold", too. Frustrating when it's so nice outside.
