Reminiscing........Sweet Memories

Nine Years ago today Joe and I were married at Clackamas Valley Baptist Church in Estacada, Oregon. It was the warmest day of the year up to that point. The ceremony was not your traditional ceremony. The songs were all songs that told of our love for our Lord, and sang by Joe's daughter Kelly, and cousins Julie, Mark and Simeon,  The song I chose when I walked down the isle to meet my Joe was sung by   very dear friend, Jerry Griggs.

 "My Tribute"
 by Andre Crouch
How can I say thanks for the things
You have done for me?
Things so undeserved yet you gave
To prove your love for me
The voices of a million angels
Could not express my gratitude
All that I am, and ever hope to be
I owe it all to thee
To god be the glory, to god be the glory
To god be the glory for the things he has done

Jerry, Mark, Simeon, Kelly ad  Julie led the guests in singing "To God Be The Glory" for our recessional.

The reception was very simple, a small cake for cutting, sheet cakes, punch made with 7-Up and Lime Sherbet, and Joe's and my favorites.......chocolate chip cookies, cold milk,M & M'S, Nuts and mints.

We spent our honeymoon at a Western Horizons Park in Soap Lake, Washington, then in August we took a three month wedding trip around the United States.
