Viola's New Address

Joe's momma, Viola, has a new address. It is Heaven. She went to be with the Lord late last night. We will be having a Celebration of her life on Sunday afternoon.

This is why I have been silent on here for awhile. She was admitted to Hospice care and I have been caring for her here at home, just the way we wanted.  I also just didn't have the desire during that time to blog. Our plans for now are to adjust to being just the two of us. Joe will be done working the 2nd week of January. We then plan on doing some traveling.

  2. Betty and Joe,
Our prayers and thoughts are with you. You are wonderful angels who watched over her during the last part of her life. She couldn't ask for more than having her loved ones there with her caring for her the way no one else could.

You preserved her dignity. Very wonderful people.

  3. I knew it would be soon, but it doesn't make it any easier - for Joe especially. My thoughts and prayers go out for you both, as well as all those who she's left behind. You and Joe have been angels taking care of her and keeping her at home for her last days, which I know was as she wanted it. Blessings to you both. Now is a time to rejoice and honor the life she had, and you had with her. Prayers for you and her.
